Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PalTable mobile application and related services. By creating an account or using PalTable, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our End User License Agreement (EULA).

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Restaurants must have authority to represent their business.

Accounts

You are responsible for your login credentials and activity on your account. Provide accurate information and keep it updated. You may delete your account at any time in Profile → Account Settings, subject to active booking restrictions.

Bookings and payments

• PalTable facilitates reservations and payments between diners and restaurants. Restaurants are responsible for hosting events as described.
• Prices, menus, and event details are set by restaurants and shown before checkout.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Refunds follow the cancellation policy shown in the app at the time of booking.
• Restaurant partners may receive payouts through Stripe Connect subject to Stripe's terms and verification requirements.

Events and bookings

• You must be at least 18 years old to book and attend PalTable events.
• Group dining involves shared tables with other guests; you agree to conduct yourself respectfully.
• Events may include alcohol service subject to restaurant and local law; you are responsible for drinking responsibly and complying with applicable age and alcohol laws.
• PalTable facilitates bookings and payments; restaurants host events and are responsible for on-site food, beverage, and hospitality service.

Conduct

You agree not to harass others, commit fraud, misuse payment methods, scrape the service, or violate applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the community.

Termination

You may stop using PalTable at any time and delete your account as described above. We may suspend or terminate your access, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for PalTable or others, or if we discontinue the service.

Content

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant PalTable a license to use, display, and process that content to operate the service. Restaurants are responsible for menu and event information they publish.

Disclaimers

PalTable is provided "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Dining involves inherent risks; you participate in events at your own discretion. PalTable is not the restaurant operator unless explicitly stated.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PalTable is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our aggregate liability is limited to the greater of amounts you paid through the PalTable service in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars.

Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, unless otherwise required by law.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
